Clarice Aanden
Clarice was born August 16,1926 on the farm rural Fertile. Her parents were Peter & Clara Fussom. She has one brother who passed away when he was five days old.
Clarice attended County School. She worked in Crookston from the age of 16 until she attended Nursing School in Minneapolis. Clarice married Thorvald Aanden on July 20th, 1951. They lived on the family farm until they moved to Fertile.
Clarice and Thorvald had 2 sons, Harry who lives in Fertile and Chester who lives in Cooperstown ND. She has 6 grandchildren: Lonnie, Lanetta, Chez, AnnaDee, Jena and Jacob, and 2 great grandchildren, Kensey & Kameron.
Clarice was a member of Varnes Lutheran Church and Maple Bay Free Church. Her hobbies are quilting, gardening, and sewing.
Clarice was employed by Fair Meadow for 40 years!
